Summer 2010

It’s hard to believe it’s been one year since we moved to Tennessee! We are enjoying all that is has to offer. The last two week clinic was a blast, people came from FL, NC, GA, and TX. There is one more two week clinic here in October and I am looking forward to it!

There is always something new to learn with the horses. I was just talking to a student the other day and she commented on how it seemed like she had a lot more questions than ever before. After thinking about it, it made perfect sense. As we learn more we have more areas that connect and of course there would be potentially more questions about all those new areas, naturally. After saying that she said, ‘oh I thought it was a bad thing now I feel much better’!

I have questions therefore I am unconfident, or I am confidently asking questions for more information? Something to think on…

With body language and improving leadership qualities as my focal points for this year I found some amazing connections to the horses. They are a wonderful road map for us to learn how to integrate these qualities into not only our time with our horses but our daily lives as well. When you add movements, anything from backing up to piaffe now there is a fun challenge of keeping these great qualities intact.

2009 News

Aimee and Brian were married on June 24th 2009, south of Glacier National Park MT. With a private ceremony of close friends they shared their vows for each other. With there new home in TN, Aimee continues to travel and teach full time, while Brian continues to work for Volkswagon awaiting a new position at their corporate headquarters.
